Inner Ring Road
Pune Inner Ring Road
The Pune Inner Ring Road is crucial for mitigating traffic congestion and reducing urban pollution. It is designed to accommodate growing traffic volumes and support the city’s expanding infrastructure needs. By rerouting heavy vehicle traffic away from central areas, the project aims to enhance overall transportation efficiency.
Additionally, the Ring Road is intended to serve as a catalyst for the planned and sustainable development of Pune and its adjoining regions. A primary objective is to establish circular connectivity among key hubs such as Lohegaon Airport, Hinjewadi IT Park and Chakan MIDC.
