Construction of a Railway Flyover on (MDR 119) between Yavat and Rahu, Taluka-Daund, District Pune

  • Yavat is an Urban Growth Centre (UGC) and Rahu is a Rural Growth Centre (RGC), connected via this ROB (Railway Over Bridge).
  • Administrative Approval – ₹ 96.68 Crores
    (Land Acquisition – ₹ 19.87 Crores + Construction Cost – ₹ 76.81 Crores)
  • Road Length – 1.70 km

Current Project Status

  • Provisional approval of GAD (General Arrangement Drawing) received from Railway Department.
  • Final GAD submitted to Railway Department for approval.
  • The process of appointing the Project Management Consultant is underway.

Construction of a Major Bridge over the Mula Mutha River at Khamgav Tek – Hingangav, Tal. Haveli

Advantages of Bridge Construction

  • This bridge will connect Pune-Nagar State Highway via Wagholi-Rahu Road (SH-68) to Uruli Kanchan and Pune-Solapur Road (SH-9).
  • Villages like Hingangav, Shindewadi, Labdevasti, Rautvasti, Sahajpurwadi, Lonkarwadi in Haveli Taluka will get better connectivity.

Scope of Work

  • Construction of Main Bridge: Length 200 meters & Width 12 meters (including footpath)

Current Status

  • Work commencement order issued on 27/09/2024.
  • Currently, the construction work is in progress.
